Hometown Hero of the Lonesome West

Barnes & Noble sucked me in, but I spent under $20 for two books… which is incredible!

In honor of J. Cash’s birthday, I bought his autobiography. I’m pleased to know that his ancestors lived in Bedford (which is about 15 minutes down the road from me). I was also rummaging through the bargained price section, and found this nifty book entitled “Cobain Unseen” by Charles R. Cross. It’s stuffed full of neat odds and ins… like copies of his hand written letters on real notebook paper, copies of his artwork, loose copies of show fliers, a cd of Cobain reading his own journal entries, and this weird skeleton mask. All of these things are tucked away in these nifty, artsy folders and scattered sporadically throughout the book. I’m well pleased that I happened upon it.
